DVLA Road Legal Registrations
We are legally required to obtain information
- 1 - Identification
- 2 - Registration Entitlement
Section 1 - Identity (Confirm name & address)
- Driving License
- Utility Bill (Council Tax / Rates) This must be within the last 6 months.
- Bank or Building Society Statement within the last 6 months.
- National Identity Card
- Passport (Not required to be UK Issued)
- Bank or Building Society Debit Card / Credit Card (Will only confirm your name)
- Police Warrant Card (Will only confirm your name)
- Armed Forces Identity Card (Will only confirm your name)

Section 2 - Registration Documentation
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C / V5CNI)
- New Keeper Supplement (Green Slip / V5C/2)
- Certificate of Entitlement (V750 or V750NI)
- Retention Documentation (V778)
- A renewal reminder for Vehicle Tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI)
- Temporary Registration Certificate (V379 or V379NI)
- A Number Plate Authorization Certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the DVLA or DVSA.
- An Electronic Number Plate Authorization Certificate (eV948)
